A fanlisting is a listing of fans for a certain subject, whether they have a website or not. After submitting their names, fans are added to a list to show their support for that subject. A master list can be found at TheFanlistings.org.
Dream King is one such fanlisting, that of the main protagonist in The Sandman, a remarkable comic book/graphic novel series penned by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by various talented artists.
Dream, otherwise known as Morpheus, among a number of many other names, is one of the Endless: neither gods nor mortals, they are personifications of their aspect. Dream is the Lord of, well, Dreams; he shapes both fantasy and nightmare, and is the storyteller of your sleep.
Though his form or appearance can shift depending on his company, he is often seen as a tall, thin, pale man with wild dark hair and dark hollows where his star-eyes are. He is commonly garbed in a long, dark robe with flames stretching across their length. His manner is somber and humorless, though that is more because of his serious manner; he does not take things lightly.
He is also a complex figure, and within The Sandman, builds and regrets and learns and decides.
